What Fair Day is
A whole day in the park
Fair Day is Brisbane Pride’s community day. A full day outdoors with live performance on the main stage, the Rainbow Markets, food, and stalls from LGBTIQA+ organisations, services and small businesses across Queensland.
It is the day the community turns up in one place, in daylight, and takes up room. Families, first-timers, people who have been coming for decades, and everyone who wants to stand alongside them.
Rainbow Markets
LGBTIQA+ makers, small businesses, health services and community organisations. Some are selling, some are signing people up, and some just want a chat.
Food and drink
A food precinct with a spread of vendors across the day, plus a licensed bar area. Vegetarian, vegan and gluten free options are always part of the mix.

One day, two events
The Pride Rally and March runs the same morning and finishes at Fair Day, so the two are one day rather than two events. You can march and walk in, or come straight to the park and meet it when it arrives.

What is Fair Day?
Fair Day is Brisbane Pride’s community day: a day in a park with a main stage, the Rainbow Markets, food and community stalls. It runs alongside the Pride Rally and March, which happens the same morning.
When is it on?
Fair Day is held once a year as part of the Brisbane Pride Festival. This year it is on Saturday 24 October 2026 at New Farm Park. See the Fair Day 2026 page for the run sheet, the venue and tickets.
Do I need a ticket?
Yes, Fair Day is ticketed. Tickets for the current year are linked from the Fair Day 2026 page.
Can I bring my dog?
Yes. Dogs are welcome as long as they are on a lead. Bring water and a bowl, pick up after them, and keep clear of the crowd at the main stage. Fair Day is a hot, loud, busy day outdoors, so if your dog is nervous around crowds they will have a better day at home. Registered assistance animals are welcome anywhere on site.
What if it rains?
Fair Day goes ahead rain or shine. Light rain will not stop it, so bring a poncho. If the weather turns genuinely dangerous we will post updates here and on our social channels.
Is Fair Day accessible?
We want everyone to be able to come. Accessibility arrangements depend on the venue and are published on that year’s page before the day. If you have a specific access requirement, contact us ahead of time and we will work it out with you.
How do I get a market stall?
Stallholder registration opens ahead of each Fair Day. Community organisations and LGBTIQA+ owned businesses are both welcome. This year’s registration is linked from the Fair Day 2026 page.
